For over twenty-five years, the Center has worked closely with area schools,
K-12 and colleges, to raise the public awareness of the Holocaust and to educate
students and teachers about the importance of defending human rights and combating
racism, prejudice and intolerance within our own society and the world. The Center
offers educators, administrators, students, clergy, and organizations a number of
educational services including:
Education
The 2000+ volumes about the Holocaust, genocides and human rights violations are
accessible through the North of Boston Library Exchange (NOBLE) online and may be
borrowed using local library guidelines. We have books and videos that are appropriate
for for all ages, and for your convenience, we also have a reference section.
Guest lectures and presentations from Holocaust and genocide survivors, education
and curriculum advisors, and area scholars on issues of the Holocaust, genocides
and human rights can be arranged.
Group visits to The Holocaust Center that include a tour and speaker can be scheduled
by contacting the Center.
